Citizenship test

Well, ask a stupid question...

Neal Boortz was so eloquent in his posting 50 questions to test everyone's patriotism, that I knew I would have to put up some patriotism questions today, or bust. Neal did it as he always does, to drive the libertarian agenda to the point of rediculous "All or Nothing" conclusions in a world that never worked that way.
So here goes:

1) Provide one reason why the definition of sovereignty in Websters or Funk & Wagnalls should be altered to include illegal penetration of a state's borders.

2) Name one federally successful political party in our nation's past or present that has exhibited a lack of any social conscience whatsoever.

3) Name the date when it was decided in our courts that corporations had the same rights as individuals (It was more recent than you might think)

4) Name the biggest spendthrift in american presidential history.

5) Name one major miltary conflict in US history from 1916 to 1973 that was not started by the Democrat Party.

6) Define Federal.

7) Is our Country: (a) a Parliamentary Democracy; (b) A participatory democracy; (c) a republic; (d) an oligarchy or (e) a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABC/Disney/MGM.

8) If you read that a majority of congresspeople believe that the reduction of the rate of increase in federal spending constitutes a budget cut, would this surprise you?

9) Can you name your senators? Can they name you?

10) What was the true reason for the American Civil War?

11) When was the last time you actually voted?

12) What is the cost (Rounded off to the nearest million) of a stealth fighter?

13) Have you been to a gun range lately? Why or why not?

14) If public schools are failing, and private schools get their teachers from the same schools of education that the public schools do, what is the difference between the schools?

15) How much of every dollar of gasoline you buy is an added tax?

16) When is the last time you actually read the Declaration of Independence?

17) If "In God We Trust" is on our nation's money, and you haven't been to church this year, do you still have the right to spend it?

18) How Many active candidates for office have you physically, personally spoken with in the past month?

19) How are you feeling about this so far?

20) What are you going to do about it?

There. Sign your name. Put your pencil down, and act. Better yet, read and act.
